Whirlwind Weekend Travels

What a beautiful sight Bryce is!
This is on our way from Bryce to Capital Reef.

We obviously got there a little later than planned...but there was still some light left!

Lindsay came for visit and we decided to see how many National Parks we could visit in a weekend.....next time we will take more time at each individual location! :)

On our way to the Grand Canyon North Rim via St. George, UT.

Endlich erreicht! It took a bit longer than I expected to finally reach this point.
The most magnificent site!
Me standing on the edge....for a moment I wondered what it would feel like to fly through it.
Spring Creek hike, not far from our house

Random Rantin's

On Friday, I was informed that because things have been so slow, everyone's hours are cut.....which means that instead of 40 hours per week, I am now working 30 hours per week. I have thought a lot about my situation the last week.....First off, it took me forever long to finally find a job here. Ok, not that long but I it has never taken me a month to find work. And now my hours have been cut! GRRR.....It left me feeling like maybe I was wrong in coming to Cedar City. I even contemplated moving to Salt Lake or that area because there would at least be more opportunity to find work. Especially after the mission reunion, it seems that there are a lot of mission friends in the SLC/Provo area. Sorry, to those of you that live there but it is really all the same area to me! :) I need those 10 hours to pay bills....

And then I considered my blessings......Dana talked to Jerry, our landlord, and he decided to lower our rent. Thus cutting $62 dollars off of my monthly payments. Super exciting on that count! I get along well with Dana and that is a huge blessing! :) After a father's blessing and lots of prayer, I know that I should stay in Cedar City and I am confident that I will find a job where I will be able to make enough money to pay my bills and save for next semester.

Also, ich bin gesegnet und weiss dass Der Herr mich leibt und ein Plan fuer mich hat. Ich muss einfach daran glauben! :) Und immer mich daran erinnern.

This is my new haircut, it is the shortest I have ever had my hair! :) I also had some red put in, I do love the red! I will also note, that my mom and sister Jill styled it. Those of you who know me well, know that it will probably rarely be styled in quite this way...:) Let me know what you all think!

SEXY

Yesterday, a conversation from my days of living in Ogden came to mind. My flat mate, Calvin, always asked thought provoking questions and made interesting observations. (If you would like the explanation as to why I was living in a Co-ed apartment, check the comments, that is a completely different train of thought!) Shortly before I moved back to Willard, Calvin asked me if I felt sexy. I don't remember exactly what my answer was at the time but I do remember that it was basically a no. Anyway, while driving home from work yesterday I remembered this conversation and have since been thinking a lot about the question, Do I feel sexy? Calvin said that all women have the right to feel that they are sexy and it recent weeks I have come to realize the truth of his statement. I also believe feeling sexy comes from being comfortable with who one is. At this point in my life, I know who I am and am completely comfortable with myself, which means that I do feel sexy....:) So, ladies, you do have the right to feel sexy and you should!! No matter what.
