Fire Station Field Trip

Today we went on the first field trip that I had planned and no one got lost, injured or anything! :) We left on time and walked to the fire station, about 3/4 mile from our building, most of the children were very excited to see everything at the fire station. We had one of the 2 year olds who is very afraid of police men and got very upset because she thought the firemen were police men. I was so proud of my little 3-5 year olds for being such troopers and walking there and back, they did a great job! We had the 1 and 2 year olds in wagons. We also had 7 of the parents come with us!

All in all, despite the cold, it was a great field trip!

2011 Update

I have not updated in a long time! I wanted to do a quick update and hopefully I will be more diligent this year about regular updates. :)

We are currently living in Wenatchee, WA. I am working at Apple A Day as a Pre K teacher. I have the fun and exciting job of helping 14 amazing four and five year olds prepare to enter Kindergarten. Eric is currently trying to land a full time teaching position as a history teacher, in the meantime he has been keeping himself busy. We have a puppy, who is now a year old, named Zeus. He is a hyper puppy who loves to take me on walks. :)
